Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck offering versatility and great height. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to raise the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts could not move the cargo away from and towards the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in both construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is required.
In situations needing high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments referred to as forklift carton clamp attachments are better. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specifically to raise staff. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a chain or strap which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
