End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is a really flexible machine and is common in the material handling industry. These equipment have great performance features which are somewhat comparable to sit-down electric lift truck units.
These lift truck units are ideal for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space needed to utilize these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These machines are an excellent choice for applications which need regular on and off access, as their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus used by a variety of companies that maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
The standard reach truck unit is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also have a hydraulic setup which enables the driver to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not just gives more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
