Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machinery have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete all your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being designed and made all the time and would debut in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For instance, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
