Since 1976, Taylor Machine Works has built, engineered and marketed empty container handlers. The "Big Red" line of empty handlers reflects the experience and knowledge gained in those years. The Taylor empty handlers are called the "All American" units since they are built and engineered in the United States. Taylor is always on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The corporation strives to maintain their commitment of manufacturing and designing the most reliable, best and most productive container handling equipment around, anywhere within the world.
The company's empty container handlers are equipped with a huge assortment of attachments and masts in order to better meet your particular requirements. The following is a list of units with their standard attachment and mast.
The TECDS-150H Attachment expands in order to top pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty ISO standard containers and empty reefer containers. Any containers measuring over 40 feet need to have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has 4 corner twist-locks too, electrical signal lights inside the cab, hydraulic slewing and 2 work lights.
Able to handle 2 separate 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers simultaneously is the ELME attachment. It allows for many containers to be stacked on top of each other. Also, this type of attachment is offered with 4 horizontal twist-locks which insert into the side apertures of the upper containers bottom corner castings and the lower container's top corner castings. The extremely specialized design of the twist-locks enables block stacking to be accomplished.

Each and every unit of the Taylor container lift trucks uses a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air to air or charged air after-cooled diesel engine. A few of the standard engine features consist of diagnostic monitor and electronic maintenance, transmission/engine protection, water/fuel separator, improved fuel economy and reduced overall emissions. In addition, the available transmission utilized for all 3 units is a power-shift, non-modulated, fully reversing, 3-speed transmission. It is offered along with remote shift control and inching capacity.
These particular units have been engineered specially to work in extreme weather conditions in the harshest environments in the world. These models could function with ease through thick mud, deep snow and rough terrain. Having the ability to rely on a reliable machinery when you are working in lousy conditions and in the middle of nowhere is certainly an important investment for your company.
